# Palace interested in Celtic star Moussa Dembele

Crystal Palace have joined an ever-growing list of clubs said to be interested in Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, according to [Club Call](https://www.clubcall.com/crystal-palace/celtic-star-on-palace-radar-1827676.html?).

Alan Pardew’s side have surprised many this season as they sit comfortably in 8th place, largely down the exploits of £32m club-record signing Christian Benteke who has netted in three of his last four Premier League appearances.

However, the Eagles can still add firepower to their ranks, especially considering Loic Remy’s injury-blighted stay at the club is only until the end of the season, for now, and the contracts of strikers Jonathan Benteke and Kwesi Appiah expire next summer.

With that in mind, they’ve joined Bayern Munich and Barcelona on a list of clubs said to be interested in Celtic’s star striker Moussa Dembele.

The 20-year-old forward joined on a free transfer after his Fulham contract expired back in June and he’s scored 12 goals in 17 appearances for the club including an impressive hat-trick in the Old Firm derby.

Having signed a four-year contract, in addition to his rich vein of form, it’s hard to imagine that Celtic would be willing to part ways with the Frenchman so soon into his tenure north of the border, but [Dembele stated that he joined Celtic to improve his game](https://www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk/celtic-wonderkid-moussa-dembele-would-be-a-perfect-fit-at-crystal-palace/story-29791500-detail/story.html), which could be interpreted as he sees them as a stepping stone in his career.

> I came to Celtic to improve. I was in the Championship and I’ve come to the Scottish Premiership. I see my future here and hopefully I can score a lot of goals for the club and win many trophies.

With the January window still a few months away, Celtic should expect many enquiries and offers for their star man if he continues on his current trajectory.
