# Crystal Palace are already working on two transfer deals

Crystal Palace co-owner Steve Parish has told the [Croydon Advertiser](https://www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk/exclusive-crystal-palace-hold-big-meeting-and-have-lined-up-two-transfers-already-for-next-summer/story-29823822-detail/story.html) that the club are already working on two potential transfer deals that they hope to complete next summer.

Parish revealed that Palace held a big meeting of all the club’s scouts from around the world and they went through a number of different things.

Alan Pardew also attended the meeting as the Eagles looked back at business they’ve already done to see if they could have done better and they also did some planning for the future.

Whilst there is money available for Palace to spend in January if needed, plans are already in place to bring in at least two new players next summer.

Parish spoke about what happened at the meeting before revealing that there are already two deals in the pipeline.

He said:

> We had a big meeting on Sunday morning with all the scouts from all over the country and the world. They went through different presentations and we look at the last transfer window and what we can do better. Alan presented his continuing vision and I talked about what I need the scouts to do to get the right value and we looked at data analytics and where that could collide. We have already got two deals we are working on for next summer. But for me, this is the best shape we have ever been in as a football club and there is no question in that regard. We have been gradually building the infrastructure of the club, but we don’t want to be complacent.

Most Palace fans will agree that it’s great to see the club planning so far in advance.
