# Palace striker suffers injury blow ahead of Swansea game

Logic Remy is yet to play a game for Crystal Palace since arriving on loan for Chelsea and his wait for a debut will continue after he picked upset another injury.

The French international picked up a thigh strain two weeks after joining Palace and has been back at Chelsea for treatment.

It looked like he was back to full fitness but Alan Pardew confirmed at his press conference before Palace’s game with Swansea that Remy will be out for a further three weeks after he injured his calf.

In truth, Palace should have enough options in attack to carry on coping without Remy. Christian Benteke is the obvious first choice whilst Connor Wickham has impressed when coming off the bench in recent matches.

However, when fit, Remy is a proven Premier League goalscorer to Palace will hope he suffers no further set backs ahead of the crucial Christmas period.
