# Palace make £7m move for Brady

According to [the Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4081726/Crystal-Palace-launch-7m-bid-Norwich-left-Robbie-Brady.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490), Crystal Palace have submitted a £7m bid for Norwich City winger Robbie Brady.

The bid is expected to be rejected by Norwich, though as the Canaries are thought to want at least £12m for the Irish international.

Brady signed for Norwich from Hull City in the summer of 2015 for a fee of around £7m and the Canaries are highly unlikely to sell for anything less than that after some good performances for the club in the past year-and-a-half.

The Irishman has three goals and three assists in the Championship this season but was sent off against Brentford on Saturday – albeit controversially.

Palace manager Sam Allardyce is keen on signing a left-back this window and it looks like he sees Brady as the perfect man to come in, despite his natural position being on the left-wing.

With the Championship side likely to reject the £7m offer, it’ll be interesting to see if Palace are willing to match the £12m asking price.
