# Southampton vs Crystal Palace: Key battles

Crystal Palace will hope to continue their fine form when they travel to St Mary’s on Wednesday night.

Sam Allardyce’s side will go into the game fresh off the back of an impressive 2-1 win over Premier League leaders, Chelsea.

The win at Stamford Bridge has left the title race wide open again with Chelsea’s lead at the top cut to just seven points.

A win against Claude Puel’s men would make it five in a row for Palace and be the tipping point that finally secures the Eagles’ Premier League status.

We’ve picked out some key battles ahead of the game on the South Coast.
