# Ranieri keen on Palace job

Pace is gathering over Crystal Palace’s next managerial appointment, and it looks as though Claudio Ranieri has established his interest in taking up the job.

According to a report from the [Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/06/09/claudio-ranieri-eyes-premier-league-return-crystal-palace/) today, the Italian is keen on making the switch to Selhurst Park as the Eagles continue their extensive search for their next manager.

Ranieri is claimed to have offers from Ligue 1, with the likes of Saint-Etienne being heavily linked with a move for the former Chelsea manager in recent times.

Palace have been linked with a number of candidates, with the likes of Roger Schmidt, Sean Dyche and Mauricio Pellegrino being the most mentioned names.

However, with Ranieri seemingly keen to make a return to the Premier League just months after he was dismissed at Leicester, the Palace bosses could plump for the 2015/16 Premier League-winning boss.

There appears to be no clear front-runner in this dilemma for the Eagles, but they won’t be short of options.
