Crystal Palace will look to rectify their awful start to the Premier League season by bringing in a couple of fresh faces on Deadline Day.
After seeing a bid worth a total of £25m rejected by Liverpool for Mamadou Sakho earlier this week, the Eagles have turned their attentions to Manchester City outcast Eliaquim Mangala and have lodged a £23m bid for the Frenchman.

Manchester City are eager to offload Mangala as it’s pivotal to their potential £30m swoop for West Brom’s Jonny Evans but it’s claimed that the player’s preference is a move to Inter Milan who only want to take the player on loan.

Palace’s top target is Sakho and they are eager to sign him, with Sakho eager to return to Selhurst Park following a successful loan spell last season, but Liverpool are standing firm on their £30m asking price.
West Brom are also keen on signing Mangala as a replacement for Evans if he leaves for City, but the centre-back who spent last season on loan at Valencia isn’t interested in joining the Baggies.
