Crystal Palace failed with a Deadline Day bid for Turkey international striker Cenk Tosun but now they could face some competition for his signature in January.
According to the Daily Mail, both Tottenham and Newcastle are interested in signing the impressive 26-year-old centre-forward.
The striker himself confirmed that Palace submitted a €13.5m bid for his services late in the summer transfer window after he scored 27 goals for Besiktas last season as they won their second consecutive Super Lig title.

Palace have been linked with making a sizable bid for Tosun when the January transfer window opens up but his goalscoring exploits have attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs, namely Tottenham and Newcastle.
Roy Hodgson’s side are devoid of attacking options with the burden on Christian Benteke’s shoulders to deliver the goals that will get the Eagles out of the hole they find themselves in after five straight defeats to start the Premier League season.
