# Lille not budging on their valuation of Palace target Amadou

Crystal Palace don’t appear to have made any more progress in their pursuit of Lille star Ibrahim Amadou.

According to Sky Sports, as cited by [GFFN](https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2018/lille-demand-e20m-from-crystal-palace-for-ibrahim-amadou/), the Ligue 1 side will settle for no less than their asking price of €20 million for Amadou, who has been a shining light in a poor season for the club.

Amadou has been on the Eagles’ radar for the duration of the January transfer window and although they are yet to give up the ghost in their bid to sign him, it seems a deal will be negotiated only on Lille’s terms.

Palace remain interested in signing fresh faces before the window slams shut on Wednesday night but will need to haggle with Lille in an attempt to reach an agreement over the transfer of Amadou.

Lille are not in the most stable of financial positions, though, and a sale for a sizable sum of money could prove to be a lucrative proposition as the clock ticks down.

Amadou is a capable central defender and is also able to efficiently operate in the middle of the park.
