# Crystal Palace eyeing Tufan swoop

Crystal Palace are showing an interest in signing Fenerbahce defensive midfielder Ozan Tufan.

[According to Turkish outlet Aksam,](https://www.aksam.com.tr/spor/iki-ingiliz-takimi-ozan-tufanin-pesinde/haber-792563) Palace and fellow Premier League side Fulham are keen on signing the midfielder in the next transfer window.

The report claims that Tufan was left out of Fenerbahce’s latest squad as their manager prepares to speak to him about his future.

The 23-year-old has seemingly been distracted by the speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League and has been unable to focus on Fenerbahce.

Tufan has been with the club since his €7m move from Bursaspor in 2015 and he has gone on to make 56 appearances for Fenerbahce since.

He is capable of playing at right-back and on the wing, in addition to his main position as a holding midfielder.

Palace look set to make a move for Tufan in the January transfer window, although may also be rivaled by Fulham.
