# Crystal Palace player ratings: Cardiff (A)

Crystal Palace ran out 3-2 winners at the Cardiff City Stadium, with the Eagles confirming Cardiff’s relegation back to the Championship.

Roy Hodgson’s side picked up the win in South Wales, which was enough to relegate the Bluebirds back to the second tier at the first time of asking.

Wilfried Zaha opened the scoring for the Eagles in the 28th minute, slotting the ball past the Cardiff goalkeeper.

Cardiff would equalise not long after, with Martin Kelly scoring an own-goal.

However, the scores would not stay level for long, with Michy Batshuayi putting Palace back in front in the 39th minute.

The points would be wrapped up in the second half, with Andros Townsend scoring the winner for Palace and condemning Cardiff to relegation.

Bobby Reid would get a goal late for Cardiff, but it wouldn’t be enough to keep them in the Premier League.

Palace’s win sees them move up to twelfth in the Premier League table.

Here, we’ll rate the Palace players after a good win in South Wales for the Eagles
