# Palace offered Nelson on loan in new Zaha bid

Crystal Palace have been offered the chance to sign England youth international Reiss Nelson on loan, as part of a new bid from Arsenal for Wilfried Zaha.

[According to the Independent](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/arsenal-transfer-news-wilfried-zaha-crystal-palace-fc-fee-reiss-nelson-saka-jenkinson-a9015316.html), the Gunners have launched a fresh bid in the region of £65 million, including add-ons, for the player.

The deal will include the opportunity to take Nelson on loan for a season after he impressed at Hoffenheim recently.

Crystal Palace are standing firm over their eye-watering £80 million valuation of the Ivorian attacker and have rejected Arsenal’s latest bid.

The report claims that while a player going on loan to Palace is not being ruled out this stage, Roy Hodgson’s men would also like the opportunity to sign an Arsenal player on a permanent deal as well as any potential temporary additions.
