# Zaha could leave Palace at the end of the season

Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha could leave the club at the end of the season, according to a report on the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7972937/Wolves-prepared-Adama-Traore-clubs-expected-spending-spree.html).

The Ivory Coast international was [linked with a move](https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/news/arsenal-transfer-news-tierney-zaha-16352853) to fellow Premier League club Arsenal last summer.

The winger has also recently[been linked](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/chelsea-transfer-target-wilfried-zaha-21380126) with a move to Frank Lampard’s Chelsea and as stated in the [Daily Mail’s](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7972937/Wolves-prepared-Adama-Traore-clubs-expected-spending-spree.html) report, he could be on the move this summer.

### READ CRYSTAL PALACE VERDICT

Zaha is widely [considered as one of the best Premier League wingers](https://talksport.com/football/538923/premier-league-wilfired-zaha-james-maddison/) outside of the top six teams, so interest in him shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Palace chairman Steve Parish[recently admitted](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/dont-know-going-to-happen-zahas-future-palace-uncertain/12u9s5jeis2j71976z5g4su4jw) that he’s unsure about Zaha’s future at the club and so we believe that this could be the right time for him to finally leave Selhurst Park.

Why? Because [boss Roy Hodgson](https://readcrystalpalace.com/2020/02/05/hodgson-wants-transfer-assurances-before-signing-new-palace-deal/) is eager to make new signings in the summer, therefore, selling Zaha for a significant fee could help him to do just that.

Hodgson [revealed his discontent](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/02/02/roy-hodgson-admits-crystal-palace-failed-january-transfer-window/) with the club’s dealings in the January transfer window and now reportedly wants more arrivals in the summer.

We feel that because clubs like Arsenal have made [big-money approaches](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/jul/01/arsenal-40m-approach-crystal-palace-wilfried-zaha) in the past, selling Zaha shouldn’t be a problem.
