## Crystal Palace in Advanced Talks to Sign Zavier Gozo in £11m Deal

Crystal Palace are in advanced talks to sign Real Salt Lake’s Zavier Gozo, a right-sided wing-back, in a deal worth a reported £11m, [according to The Athletic](https://news.google.com/rss/articles/CBMimgFBVV95cUxNNFhzUHJLVDJxVHJJamtnTjlaby1iY2FDR09RR0xEdkdiZEUzbFQ3dGJzb0tHWExmS2pVcnJwa0NwSlFNMC1Day1fOWItUURiOGMxcVdJRkFTUFB0anJBVnZtNEkyaFloc0NWM1V1aEpJbVpRNEVUVlFoemY5WGZoTlZTbGxCYXlwaDVYU0lOZk91MExDS0pIeGF3?oc=5). The move would hand head coach Pierre Sage a fresh option out wide as the Eagles look to strengthen their full-back areas before the Premier League season gets under way.

## What Zavier Gozo would offer Pierre Sage’s Palace

The reported pursuit fits a summer in which Palace have [already brought in Óscar Mingueza](https://readcrystalpalace.com/2026/07/08/crystal-palace-reach-oscar-mingueza-agreement/) to add competition on the flanks. Reported as comfortable on the right, Gozo would deepen a group that currently leans on Daniel Muñoz and Tyrick Mitchell for its width, giving Sage more flexibility early in his Selhurst Park tenure.

The talks form part of [Palace’s summer transfer business](https://readcrystalpalace.com/2026/07/12/live-updates-crystal-palace-transfer-news-rumours-gossip/) as the club balances squad-building with the demands of a maiden Europa League campaign. No fee or personal terms have been confirmed by either club, and The Athletic frames the negotiations as advanced rather than done.

Palace open their Premier League campaign later this month, and Sage will want his business done early so any new arrival has time to settle. Should the move go through, it would mark another step in a busy summer reshaping the south London club’s flanks.
