# Crystal Palace confirmed lineup vs Fulham: Henderson starts, Wharton on bench

**Crystal Palace travel to Craven Cottage on Wednesday night for the Carabao Cup fourth-round meeting with Fulham.**

Pierre Sage’s side need a response after Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United, while [Fulham](https://readcrystalpalace.com/tag/fulham/) arrive on the back of consecutive league victories. Pressure is on [Pierre Sage](https://readcrystalpalace.com/tag/pierre-sage/) after failing to win the last four games and another defeat will add even more.

## **Crystal Palace confirmed lineup vs Fulham**

Palace have named their starting XI, with Nketiah leading the attack. The forward gets a rare start for the cup tie, while Osorio and Evann Guessand are named behind him.

**Crystal Palace confirmed lineup (3-4-2-1):**

Henderson; Lerma, Ahanor, Richards; Mingueza, Doucoure, Hughes, Chilwell; Osorio, Guessand; Nketiah.

[Dean Henderson](https://readcrystalpalace.com/tag/dean-henderson/) starts in goal, with Jefferson Lerma, Ahanor and [Chris Richards](https://readcrystalpalace.com/tag/chris-richards/) making up the back three. Oscar Mingueza and [Ben Chilwell](https://readcrystalpalace.com/tag/ben-chilwell/) start on the wing back, while Doucoure and Will Hughes partner in midfield.

Sage will be hoping his Palace side can ease some pressure off him  and book a place in the [Carabao Cup](https://readcrystalpalace.com/tag/carabao-cup/) quarter-finals. The Eagles have an opportunity to respond after a difficult run of results.

## **Palace team news: Henderson returns to the** starting lineup

Chadi Riad, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Quinten Timber remain sidelined through injury, while Dean Henderson returns to the starting lineup after a long injury, missing the club’s last ten matches.

[Ismaila Sarr](https://readcrystalpalace.com/tag/ismaila-sarr/) also misses out with a groin problem, and Jorgen Strand Larsen is out for the Round of 16 clash after sitting out the Newcastle defeat as well.
