## **1. Thomas Frank**

[Thomas Frank](https://readcrystalpalace.com/2026/10/27/thomas-frank-crystal-palace-manager/) is emerging as one of the leading candidates to take charge of Crystal Palace.

Frank has been out of work since leaving Tottenham in February and is reportedly open to a move to Selhurst Park if the opportunity arises.

Frank’s Premier League experience is believed to be one of the main reasons behind Palace’s interest. The former Brentford manager knows the demands of English football and could offer experience at a difficult time for the club.

Thomas Frank remains open to joining Palace if the club make an approach. His availability could make him an appealing option should the board decide Sage has run out of time.

## **2. Kieran McKenna**

[Kieran McKenna](https://readcrystalpalace.com/2026/10/26/crystal-palace-kieran-mckenna-manager-race/) has emerged as a possible option for Palace, having left Ipswich Town in the summer.

The 40-year-old remains highly sought-after option after guiding Ipswich through successive promotions from League One to the Premier League.

Palace previously considered McKenna before appointing Oliver Glasner in 2024. His previous success at Ipswich has kept him in the conversation for a possible role.

## **3. Vitor Pereira**

[Vitor Pereira](https://readcrystalpalace.com/2026/10/26/crystal-palace-kieran-mckenna-manager-race/) is another manager with Premier League experience. He left Nottingham Forest during the summer and has a connection with Palace sporting director Matt Hobbs, having worked with him at Wolves.

That existing relationship could be crucial if Palace decide to make a change. Pereira would also bring experience of managing in the Premier League.

## **4. Sean Dyche**

[Sean Dyche](https://readcrystalpalace.com/2026/10/27/sean-dyche-crystal-palace-pierre-sage/) is being considered as a potential replacement for Pierre Sage at Crystal Palace, with the club looking at ways to address their defensive problems.

Palace have conceded 19 goals in eight league matches, leaving them with the worst defensive record in the Premier League.

The former Everton and Nottingham Forest manager has been out of work since leaving the City Ground in February.

Sean Dyche has built his reputation around making teams difficult to break down, which could appeal to Crystal Palace who are leaking goals.

Dyche’s appointment would offer Palace a manager with experience in the Premier League. However, there may be questions over whether his approach matches the club’s longer-term plans.
