Eagles midfielder Adlene Guedioura has joined Championship side Watford on loan until 1st January 2015.
Joining Crystal Palace from Nottingham Forest in 2013’s Summer transfer window, the 29-year-old has featured for Crystal Palace in 15 games, four of which have been off the bench for Neil Warnock this season in the Premier League where he has accumulated just under a 45 minutes in playing time.
During his loan spell at Watford, the Algerian international will have the chance to face Cardiff at both the start and end of his loan spell whilst also facing fixtures against Fulham, Wigan, Reading and Wolevs. Speaking to Hornets Player about his temporary move to the club, Guedioura said: “Watford have ambition, and I have a big ambition as well.
“They are chasing the dream of playing in the Premier League, so it’s a good team to come and try to help.
“I know Watford are not far from the top. I watched the game against Derby, and they had a chance to win the game.
“I’m happy that Watford gave me the opportunity to play, and I want to show what I can do. I’ll do my best and try to help.”
