Crystal Palace will travel to Dover for their third round FA Cup tie in the new year after drawing the side in last night’s draw that was held in Hull.
Dover reached the third round last weekend after beating Cheltenham 1-0 in Gloucestershire, making it the second time in their history that they have reached this stage of the competition; last season Dover were knocked out by MK Dons in the second round who went on to face then-holders of the FA Cup, Wigan Athletic.
Coincidentally, the Eagles were knocked out by the Latics in the FA Cup last season in the third round where Tony Pulis’ side lost by two goals to one.
The fixture will take place on the weekend of the 3rd January 2015.
