Julian Speroni has announced this evening that his current club Crystal Palace will face his only former British team Dundee for his testimonial at the end of the season.
The 35-year-old has spent ten years at Selhurst Park, seeing a number of managers coming in and out of the club and also witnessing the club go into administration but after his service at the club over a number of fine years he has been awarded a testimonial with the visitors for that game being announced at his testimonial Q&A at Fairfield Halls tonight in Croydon.
On Tuesday 26th May 2015, the Eagles will face Dundee at Selhurst Park in what is set to be a great tie with the Argentinian spanning his 14 years in the United Kingdom between the two clubs; Speroni joined the Scottish side in 2001/02 where made the number one spot a position of his own after the turn of the year making 21 appearances for the club in his first season, only missing out on one game. He continued to make 92 starts for the club and moved to South London at the end of the 2003/04 season in which he featured in the UEFA Cup.
More details will be announced in due course from both clubs and the group which is heading all of the events surrounding the testimonial.
