Midfielder, Stuart O’Keefe has joined Cardiff City on an undisclosed fee after spending four-and-a-half years at Selhurst Park.
The 23-year-old has become Cardiff’s fourth signing of the window with the club attempting to rejuvenate their season after finding themselves in 13th place in the Championship after being relegated from the Premier League last season after a year in the top flight.
O’Keefe has made 51 appearances since joining the club in August 2010 from Southend United, scoring his only first-team competitive goal against Sunderland last season, a goal that will be remembered by most Palace fans when he scored a screamer from outside of the area in the 3-1 win.
The young midfielder was at Cardiff’s training ground yesterday, finalising the details of his move to the Welsh club before joining his new team-mates in a training session ahead of the clubs’ game against Derby on Saturday at the Cardiff City Stadium.
