Queens Park Rangers striker Jordon Mutch looks set to be close to completing his move from West London to South over the coming days, as it seems like all terms have been agreed with the player due to undergo a medical at Crystal Palace today.
The 23-year-old has been at the Eagles’ Beckenham training ground for the majority of the week, holding talks with manager Alan Pardew about a possible move to the club that has been looking increasingly likely throughout the week to happen but now with a medical taking place.
Mutch has failed to make an impact at QPR this season under Harry Redknapp since joining from Cardiff City summer, when he moved to the club for £5million after his former side slipped into the Championship after being relegated from the Premier League.
Crystal Palace are also set to announce the signing of Shola Ameobi who is joining the club on a contract until the end of the season, after he left Turkish club Gaziantep BB in December.
