Ipswich Town have signed Crystal Palace duo Jonny Williams and Zeki Fryers on loan until the end of the season, the deal being completed before the 5pm loan deadline for Football League clubs today.
This is Williams’ third spell at the club following two previous loan spells at the club, the first was last February when he made 13 appearances for the Tractor Boys in a move until the end of the season before re-joining Ipswich on loan in September – only for it to be cut short due to an injury he picked up whilst at the side.
On this occasion, he has been joined by Zeki Fryers who has recently returned from a loan spell at fellow Championship side Rotherham where he made 11 appearances in the three-month loan deal, picking up a single yellow card.
Ipswich are currently sitting in sixth place in the Championship and just five points from an automatic promotion place.
