A fair number of games have been played at Selhurst Park in the past 90 years but PAC-MAN hasn’t made an appearance until now with thanks to Google Maps.
The popular search engine, online services and multinational corporation released information about the feature yesterday, ahead of April Fools Day, tending to go with the trend in the celebration that takes place around the world on the first day of April.
Google Maps allows users to turn any street in the world into a game of PAC-MAN complete with ghosts, pac-dots and power pellets; the game from the 80s that was developed by Namco has been used by Google before, on the homepage of the search engine back in May 2010.
You can play the game on the streets around Selhurst Park but due to the proximity of the game, there is only a small sector that has enough streets for you to play around the home of Crystal Palace F.C. All you need to do is click here and play along – can you complete the game on Holmesdale Road and the surrounding streets?
Google have said that the game can be played on both the iOS and Android versions of the application but it won’t be around for long so play it whilst you can!
