Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur who joined the club from Wigan last summer is a target for West Ham United when the transfer window opens in July, according to the Daily Mail.
The 27-year old has made 28 appearances for the Eagles this season in the Premier League and FA Cup, impressing pundits and fans alike with his ever growing presence in midfield which has become more noticeable under the management of Alan Pardew who joined the club in January.
During his time at Selhust Park, McArthur has been called up to the Scotland international squad on numerous occasions, making three appearances.
West Ham are said to be interested in the playmaker who would help to add more depth to the squad and is a potential target for them if they fail to sign Alex Song from Barcelona who is said to have interest from Inter Milan, who are in a position to offer the player a better deal.
