Sources close to Read Crystal Palace have told us that Palace are looking into the possibility of signing Besiktas striker Demba Ba.
The former West Ham centre forward is a target for The Eagles this summer, It is believed he would be keen on linking up with Pardew once again and moving back to London.
Parish and the board are supposedly more than happy to meet the transfer cost but the wage demands of Ba could be the stumbling block in the deal.
Ba, who played under Pardew at Newcastle made a move to Turkey last summer after having a stint at Chelsea and the Senegal international holds an impressive goals to game ratio in the Premier League after he managed to grab an impressive 43 goals in 99 League games. Ba had an excellent first season in Turkey after netting 27 goals in all competitions.
