The Eagles will travel north of the River Thames in July before they make two stops around the world in Germany and South Africa as Pardew’s side will visit the Hive Stadium, the home of newly promoted League Two side Barnet.
It will be a welcome return to Barnet FC for a number of players and staff with Yannick Bolasie and Jason Puncheon featuring for the club in the past as well as Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew who made 67 appearances for the club between 1995 and 1997, where he also gained valuable coaching experience as a coach-player under Terry Bullivant, who also has links with the Eagles, having briefly taken the reins of the club in 2001 with Steve Kember.
Pardew’s trip to his former club is one of six confirmed pre-season friendlies so far with the first team travelling to Germany to face Union Berlin on 18th July, before heading to South Africa where they will feature in the Cape Town Cup alongside Supersport United, Sporting Lisbon and Ajax Cape Town, where after they will make their way back to the United Kingdom to face Fulham & Dagenham and Redbridge.
Ticket prices for the fixture against Barnet are £10 for adults and £5 for concessions and under-14s. These will be avaliable before the game from Barnet’s official ticketing website or their box office on the day of the game, not the turnstiles.
