Crystal Palace are leading the race for Hull City striker Dame N’Doye but will have to fork out for his wage demands if they are to secure his services, according to Joe Bernstein of the Daily Mail.
The 30-year-old who joined his current club in January is looking for a move back to the Premier League this summer after Hull’s relegation to the Championship, the striker scored five goals in 15 games last season with two of those being in his side’s 2-0 win over the Eagles at Selhurst Park.
Norwich and Swansea were understood to be interested in the Senegalese international but it looks as if his wage demands may have put them off a possible move for the forward. Hull will be looking to re-coup for the money that they paid for him, giving him a price tag of around £4m for a transfer back to the Premier League, a fee that Alan Pardew would be wiling to pay.
N’Doye is believed to be looking for wages of £50k-per-week in any move that he makes in the summer transfer window and is the same amount that he was on at Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow, who he joined Hull from in January.
The striker was first linked with a move to the club at the start of the week by the Daily Mirror who claimed that N’Doye is his plan B if he fails to sign QPR striker Charlie Austin this summer, who is also looking for a move back to the top flight of English football following his side’s relegation to the Championship.
