Eagles co-chairman Steve Parish has this evening confirmed what most Crystal Palace fans have been praying for – the club are officially in the market for PSG’s Yohan Cabaye.
It might not come as a surprise to many, with most sites on the rumour mill reaching hundreds of pages of speculation, but that speculation has finally had some truth embedded into it.
Speaking on the Talksport radio show this evening, the Palace co-chairman chairman was led up to the Cabaye question in rather inevitable fashion, with the hosts talking about the contingent of French populous in London and how the capital can attract varying cultures and nationalities.
This talk preceded the imminent mention of the French midfielder’s link to Selhurst Park. Parish stated: “That’s definitely one we would like to do. If we can, it will be massive for the club. He’s a seasoned international. That’s definitely one we’re working on.”
The Palace supremo also hinted at the quality of other potential arrivals in SE25 stating, “For us to get into the top 10 in the Premier League, we have got make sure we are bringing in top 10 Premier League players.”
