The club have today announced that online gambling company Mansion Group are the new club sponsors, after Neteller decided to end their deal with the club.
This highly anticipated announcement will see the Mansion Group logo feature on both the home and away shirts as well as the first team’s training wear. It is a deal that will be welcomed by some but disagreed against by a number of fans as well, with gambling sponsors not always being the most welcome option.
The deal between the club and the group that has established themselves as an online gambling and entertainment website is something that will be a lucrative deal for the South London club. Mansion launched in 2004 and have maintained a strong international player base as well as a strong market share.
Speaking to the official website, Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish said the following about the new sponsorship deal: “At Crystal Palace FC we are pleased to be working alongside such an entertainment heavyweight as Mansion. I very much look forward to partnering with them to grow both our distinct brands.
“We have an exciting season ahead of us, as we seek to truly establish ourselves in the Barclays Premier League, and I’m excited that Mansion will be joining us as we continue to create a new reality and future for our Club.”
His quotes were also joined by that of the CEO of Mansion Group Sagi Lahav, who was impressed by Palace’s performance in the Premier League last season said: “As a global business with the utmost respect for the English Premier League, we are thrilled with this exciting partnership.
“At Mansion we are proud to be working with a team whose hard work and determination has seen them secure their place in the Premier League for a third consecutive season.
“We look forward to working together with Crystal Palace on a number of initiatives that will enhance the visibility of both of our brands, whilst providing a platform for CPFC fans, and our Mansion casino members, to benefit from the partnership.”
