53-year-old Alan Pardew has shown his funny side during Crystal Palace training, as it was revealed that his training kit proudly displays his nickname ‘PARDS’ across the front, rather than the usual and clearly now, more boring ‘AP’.
Former Newcastle boss Pardew is known for his rather interesting life off the pitch, with snaps alongside girls on holiday a regular feature of the Pards lifestyle, but it appears he is now bringing the cool on to the pitch. Well, the training pitch at least.
Alan Pardew took the managerial reigns at Selhurst Park in January 2015 and quickly became a fan favourite due to his ability to get the best out of the talented trio of Yannick Bolasie, Glenn Murray and Wilfried Zaha, who helped the club to finish in 10th position last season.
With Palace now back at training for pre-season, and marquee signing Yohan Cabaye reunited with Pards, supporters will be feeling optimistic ahead of the new season.
