Crystal Palace are closing in on the services of Chelsea and France forward Loic Remy, with a fee yet to be disclosed.
With the signing of Radamel Falcao seemingly demoting Loic Remy to third choice at Chelsea, the French forward is desperate to leave Stamford Bridge in search of first team football, with Alan Pardew more than willing to acquire the services of the 28-year-old.
Remy moved to Chelsea in 2014, but was kept out of the side by the consistent form of Diego Costa and Chelsea legend Didier Drogba, with the latter also moving on from Stamford Bridge.
The French forward is set to be reunited with Alan Pardew, after the two worked together at Newcastle, where Remy impressed, scorning 14 goals in 26 games for the Magpies.
A move is expected to be completed in the next couple of days and Remy will link up with former Newcastle teammate Yohan Cabaye, who recently signed for Palace in a club record fee of £10,.
