According to Sky Sports, recently-relegated Queens Park Rangers are interested in signing Adlene Guedioura.
The Algerian midfielder is not in South Africa with the rest of the squad and has featured for the under-21 side since the senior team flew out for their pre-season tour.
29 year old Guedioura spent last season on loan to Watford, helping them achieve promotion to the Premier League, but looks as though he has no future at Selhurst Park as he has the likes of Joe Ledley, Mile Jedinak and Yohan Cabaye to compete with if he stays – none of the three would likely be dropped or the Algerian international.
Having performed well in the Championship last season, he may be eager to return and help Queens Park Rangers re-attain Premier League status.
Guedioura has played 32 times for Algeria since his debut in 2010 but also has strong competition there in Saphir Taider and Nabil Bentaleb, who both play regular top-flight football.
He signed for Palace for an undisclosed fee on deadline day in 2013 – but his contract expires next summer so now would be the time to sell for The Eagles.
