Sky Sports have confirmed that Sunderland and Crystal Palace have agreed to a deal for Connor Wickham. The fee for the deal is yet to be announced.
BREAKING NEWS: Sky Sources – Crystal Palace have agreed a fee with Sunderland for striker Connor Wickham #SSNHQ

The 22 year-old has spent four years at Sunderland, being loaned out to Championship clubs Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday in 2013-14. He only appeared in five games for Leeds and was unable to score, but the striker was able to make 11 appearances for Sheffield and tallied eights goals.
Last season, Wickham appeared in 36 games for Sunderland, and was able to find the back of the net five times. Those five goals came off of 83 shots.
Wickham recently signed a new deal with Sunderland last season, so the fee for the striker could be high. The young striker is expected to make the move to South London tomorrow to discuss personal details with the Eagles.
It appears that a fee has been set for Wickam to join Palace. Reports from The Guardian say the Eagles will pay Sunderland £8 million. While ESPN is reporting the fee might rise to £10 million. Still no concrete answer as to how much Whickham will cost Palace. However we do have a feeling it may be close to what the Eagles paid to get Cabaye to join.
More details to follow.
