According to the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace are interested in signing PSV Eindhoven’s goalkeeper, Jeroen Zoet.
Having already brought in Alex McCarthy from Queens Park Rangers, who will settle as an understudy to number one Julian Speroni, it remains to be seen as to whether or not Zoet would actually fit in at Selhurst Park.

During his time at Newcastle, Palace boss Alan Pardew was always a big admirer of the 24-year-old shot stopper. He’s so interested that he has revitalised his wish to sign him – but now at a different club.
Speroni turns 37-years-old next May and isn’t going to get any younger, so replacements will be needed. Saying that, if Zoet does sign, what does that mean for the already Palace player Alex McCarthy?
It’s unclear whether this transfer will happen this summer, but the Eagles sent scouts to watch Zoet in the Eredivisie last week against Groningen.
