Charlie Austin almost certainly won’t be leaving Queens Park Rangers before Tuesday evening’s transfer deadline say Sky Sports quoting their sources, meaning Crystal Palace would miss out on one of their final reported targets.
He’s spent all summer being linked with a move away from Loftus Road, with The Eagles being named as just one of his potential suitors. However, the £15 million asking price has put many clubs off of bidding for him, with the closest anyone has come being a £12 million bid from Leicester City earlier in the window.

Austin scored 18 goals in the Premier League last season, but it wasn’t enough to keep QPR in the top tier, leading to the player being linked with a move back to the Premier League. Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United are perhaps the biggest clubs linked, but Bournemouth, Newcastle United and Palace are among the others to have also been mentioned as potential employers for the English striker.
