Mile Jedinak’s move to Stoke City could be off for now, amid reports that The Potters have been unable to agree personal terms with the midfielder. A £3 million fee had been agreed with The Eagles for the player, and he did look likely to move to Staffordshire, but for now the deal won’t be happening.
The Croydon Advertiser, who quote reports online as the source for their article, reckon that personal terms still have to be agreed, although it’s possible this could still happen before the transfer window closes, regardless of the status of the deal now.
Jedinak has been at Selhurst Park for four years now, since his move from Turkey in July 2011, playing 139 times in the Championship and Premier League. However, he’s started just twice so far in the league this season, and has been linked with a move away for some time. However, whether he’ll get his wish remains to be seen.
