Goals from Yannick Bolasie and Yohan Cabaye respectively gave Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace a big 2-0 win over ex-Palace manager Tony Pulis’ West Brom.
The game started in the midfield with both teams attempting to come out on top. Wilfried Zaha started brightly for the hosts linking up well with both Bolasie and fellow attacking midfielder Jason Puncheon.
Former Manchester United defender Jonny Evans had to be substituted off early in the first half and was replaced by James Chester.
The second half was where the Eagles won the game. DR Congo international Bolasie headed home following a beautifully weighted cross from French international Cabaye.
The ex-Newcastle United midfielder then found the net from the penalty spot after Zaha was taken down.
Alan Pardew’s men will come up against West Ham at Selhurst Park in their next Premier League fixture.
