Palace could turn to Manchester United starlet James Wilson if Chelsea recall on loan striker Patrick Bamford.
Chelsea are currently unhappy with the situation regarding Patrick Bamford, as they feel he is not getting enough first team football. If they do take up the option to recall the 22-year-old, it would leave Alan Pardew’s side with no back up for striker Connor Wickham.
Manchester United are keen to loan out James Wilson, so he can gain first team experience with a Premier League side.
The 19-year-old has scored three goals in fifteen Premier League appearances for United, and a loan move would certainly help his development. Wilson is already being highly spoken of by pundits and a loan move could make him even more of an exciting prospect.
If Palace were to move for Wilson on loan, it would benefit both Manchester United and Crystal Palace. United would have a young player with Premier League experience and Palace will have someone to fill the void – if Patrick Bamford is recalled by Chelsea.
