Alan Pardew has continued to grow in stature as he has led his Crystal Palace side to currently sit fourth in the Premier League table.
The Crystal Palace manager has slowly worked his way up to become a potential candidate to take over from Roy Hodgson when he eventually leaves his role as England manager.
Padrew has previously made no secret of the fact that he believes the England job is the pinnacle for any English manager.
Speaking over the international break, Pardew has reaffirmed his desire that one day he wants to take over the England hot seat.

The 54 year- old stated that if you are English and don’t want to be the manager of England then “there must be something wrong with you.”
Pardew added that he believes the England job is no longer out of his reach.
I think it is a job that isn’t conceivable for me
The Eagles boss however, was quick to reassure Palace fans that for the mean time, he is more then happy to remain as their manager.
During his press conference when quizzed about the England job Pardew said:
I don’t want to talk about it today, it’s not on my agenda. I’m quite happy at Crystal Palace.
