Crystal Palace centre-back Brede Hangeland has compared the current Eagles side to the Fulham team that made it to the final of the Europa League.
In an interview with South-London Today, Hangeland has said that his current team have many similarities to his former club, whom he left following their relegation to the Championship. He says that the characters in the side are similar to that of Fulham.
The 34-year old also compared current manager Alan Pardew to current England boss, and the man in charge during his time at Fulham, Roy Hodgson. He says that the two Englishmen have very similar coaching styles and that both are very knowledgeable about the league and opposition.
He says that he hopes Pardew will remain with the club for a long while.
Hangeland’s season has got off to a flying start. He played every minute of every game last month and bagged himself the September Player of the Month award.
