Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace came out victorious in their clash with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, winning 1-2.
Yannick Bolasie had initially put the visitors in front in the early stages of the game, before Brazillian international Philippe Coutinho levelled things up for the hosts. Half way through the second 45 minutes of the game, English defender Scott Dann restored the Eagles’ lead, and as a result, scored the winning goal.
Liverpool boss Klopp had spoken of his frustration and how he ‘felt alone’ when he turned around to see the Liverpool support decreasing by numbers as the game went into the latter stages – supporters had seen enough.
For Palace, this win stops their small streak of being without a win in four games, off the back of an impressive performance at Selhurst Park against Manchester United, in a game that ended 0-0 but the hosts had their chances.

I am no Liverpool fan, but hate seeing Klopp lose! 🙁
Especially to Crystal Palace and Alan Pardew – a poor English Manager, regardless!
