According to the London Evening Standard, Norwich City are considering moving for Dwight Gayle in the January transfer window.
Gayle was regularly linked with a move to The Canaries during the summer transfer window, but Crystal Palace backed out of an £11 million deal for the former Arsenal youth product in order to keep him at Selhurst Park.
Although currently facing time on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury, Gayle is also in a poor run of form. He has failed to score thus far in the Premier League in his six appearances for The Eagles.
With this poor run of form added to Gayle’s injury concerns, the London-born striker might fall out of favour at Crystal Palace. At this moment in time Palace have a wealth of attacking options with attack-minded players such as Yannick Bolasie, Patrick Bamford, Frazier Campbell and also Marouane Chamakh all on the books.
Perhaps if another £11 million offer came around it might be too hard for Steve Parish to ignore?
