Crystal Palace defender, Damien Delaney is set to extend his current deal at the club, says the Mirror.
The 34-year-old has really impressed Alan Pardew this season, maintaining many solid showings when given the chance at Selhurst Park.
The Irishman signed for the Eagles from Ipswich Town in 2012 and has made over 100 appearances in red and blue.
Since then, he’s become an integral part of the Palace squad and Pardew now believes that Delaney should be rewarded with a one-year extension on his current contract, which was due to expire in the summer.

However, one player that Pardew isn’t ready to extend the contract of is long-serving goalkeeper, Julian Speroni.
The Argentinian shot-stopper is yet to play for Palace this campaign, with Wayne Hennessey and Alex McCarthy battling it out for the number-spot. Speroni’s contract expires in the summer, but reports claim that Pardew has no interest in rewarding the Eagles’ legend a new deal as of yet.
