Ivory Coast international striker Gohi Bi Zoro Cyriac has been linked with a move to both Crystal Palace and West Ham last month, and today he has responded to questions about the apparent interest in him by both London Clubs
The 25-year-old, who is currently playing in Belgium for Oostende, has scored ten goals in 15 appearances for his club this season and is reportedly catching the eye of numerous clubs across Europe.
When asked about the apparent interest in him from both Palace and West Ham, Cyriac admitted that he is keen on a move to England.
I’m happy about that. I like those clubs. They would be a challenge for me. I was told they were in the stadium and that there is possible interest, but I am just concentrating on playing for my club. I would be happy to play in the best league in the world one day but right now I want to help Oostende qualify for Europe.

The Ivorian striker only joined Oostende from Anderlecht earlier this year, but his standout performances, coupled with his goalscoring record, are attracting interest and Oostende will now face a battle to keep him at the club.
When asked what attracts him to England’s top flight, Cyriac spoke of how his role models all played there, and he’d like to follow in their footsteps.
I like the Premier League a lot. When I was a kid I liked Wayne Rooney, and I met Didier Drogba playing for the Ivory Coast. He has given me lots of advice. He is like a father figure. He has helped me a lot. I like the Premier League. It is very physical and referees play with a good spirit and don’t stop the attacks all the time.
