Crystal Palace responded perfectly to their dismal display against Sunderland with a rampant 5-1 destruction of Newcastle and will travel to Goodison Park on Monday night in high hopes. Over the past two seasons, the Eagles have beat the Toffees 3-2 on their home ground and will look to repeat that feat this time around.
Everton enter the game having gone seven games unbeaten in all competitions and the scintillating form of Romelu Lukaku, supported by Barkley and Deulofeu, will pose a huge threat to the Palace back four.
Alan Pardew’s side will be missing Wilfried Zaha through suspension and Bakary Sako due to a hamstring issue and may be forced to give a rare start to Lee Chung-Yong. Alternatively, Palace could move Jason Puncheon to the flank and introduce Joe Ledley or Mile Jedinak in the centre, which will not only add some steel in the middle of the park but will also allow Yohan Cabaye to sit behind the striker and dictate play from there.

Palace could also give fitness tests to Marouane Chamakh and Dwight Gayle after the pair had spent some time on the sidelines through injury. Chamakh was pivotal to Palace’s success last season and his reintroduction into the side would be a huge boost.
The Eagles have had their majority of success this season coming away from home, where they can counter attack with their abundance of power and pace however Roberto Martinez’s side will be prove a tough test for the Londoners without two of their key wide men.
With plenty of attacking talent on both sides, fans will be expecting goals galore in this Monday night match up .
