Crystal Palace gained a valuable point at Goodison Park against an in-form Everton side.
Scott Dann’s powerful header had given the Eagles the lead, however, Romelu Lukaku proved to be the right man in the right place as he equalised late on for the Toffees.
Despite Everton consistently applying pressure on the Wayne Hennessey’s goal, the Londoners were resilient and managed to hold off the likes of Ross Barkley and Gerard Deulofeu.
Palace’s successful season continues and while many critics had expected the so-called “Pardew effect” to wear off, the Londoners have continued to show remarkable consistency as Pardew’s reign comes up to the one-year mark.
With Everton challenging for the top four, Pardew will likely be over the moon with this well-fought point.
