Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann believes that the best of Emmanuel Adebayor is yet to come.
Dann believes that he and his team-mates need to get used to Adebayor in order to reap the rewards of having the ex-Tottenham striker.
The Togo international made his first start for the Eagles at the weekend and managed to play 85 minutes against Swansea City in the 1-1 draw and Dann hopes Adebayor will now kick on and score his first goal for the his new club.
The centre-back has been impressed by Adebayor’s effort on the training ground and at home in order to boost his match fitness.
He told the Croydon Advertiser:
It just goes to show the type of lad he is. He will be a big player for us between now and the end of the season if we can use his qualities more and get him into the game. I think from previous clubs he’s a top, world-class striker. He’s proved that over and over again.

The Eagles have struggled in the goal scoring department all season with only one goal between their strikers coming from a penalty by Connor Wickham.
Adebayor comes with huge pedigree having played at Europe’s biggest clubs and his ability could fire Palace back into the first half.
It would be welcome for him to score many more than me! He’s got that quality and we’ve got to start getting more service to him. When we do, I think he’ll start to put the ball in the back of the net for us. Ade has done it before, so we’ll be on to a winner if he can do it for us.
The draw at Swansea earned Alan Pardew’s side their first points of 2016 and ended a run of five consecutive losses in the Premier League.
Despite the issues with their forwards, the arrival of Adebayor in January was the only addition Palace made to their squad and therefore there are high hopes pinned on the former Real Madrid front man.
