Crystal Palace’s winless streak in the Premier League stretched to ten games after they lost 3-2 to West Brom on Saturday evening.
West Brom went ahead by three goals after just half an hour thanks to Craig Gardner, Craig Dawson and Saido Berahino and despite two second-half goals from Connor Wickham, Palace couldn’t pull off the comeback.
The Eagles will count themselves unlucky not to have been given at least one penalty. Firstly, Gareth McAuley clearly pushed Scott Dann as he jumped for a header, whilst later on, substitute Yannick Bolasie seemed to be impeded by Albion captain Darren Fletcher.
However, the referee didn’t consider either of the infringements as fouls and Palace couldn’t quite get out of the hole they found themselves in.
