The Eagles last gained three points in the Premiership in Stoke on December 19. Despite not recording a win since before the holidays, Alan Pardew’s job is safe.
Even though the 54-year-old Crystal Palace boss has not led his side to victory in 13 games, Palace advisors at the boardroom level told The Advisor “there have been no talks to relieve Pardew of his duties”

Palace has been slowly but surely moving its way down the league table and currently sits just 7 points above the relegation zone. A season that held so much promise has been turned upside down since the start of the new year.
Pardew’s only saving grace is that he has the Eagles still fighting for the FA cup. This possibility seems distant. However, the 54-year-old boss has reached the FA Cup Final once as a player with Crystal Palace in 1990 and once as a manager with West Ham United in 2006, but lost in both cup ties.
Staying out of the relegation zone will prove to be quite a challenge as well. With 6 of the Eagles’ last 8 Premier League ties against clubs sitting in the 10th spot or higher, they may find themselves playing in the English Championship next season.
Regardless of Championship or Premiership, FA Cup champions or runners up, or winners or losers, Alan Pardew looks to be the man leading the Eagles for the time being.
