According to the DailyMail, Crystal Palace and Arsenal are tracking Millwall’s 18-year-old centre-forward Mikael Ndjoli.
The quick winger, converted to forward by Millwall, has been prolific for England’s U-18 and U-21 sides. The 18-year-old has scored a total of 20 goals in 24 appearances for Lion’s this season.
Ndjoli originally signed with Millwall’s academy as a U-16 scholar.
Crystal Palace already signed a young striker Freddie Ladapo last week. In addition, loaned out striker Kaikai has been more than impressive for Shrewsbury this season. So why would the Eagles need another striker?
With Crystal Palace developing and bringing in all of these young strikers, Ndjoli would most likely sit with the reserve time for a while.
Crystal Palace will have to compete against Arsenal in order to sign the young Millwall forward, something that could be difficult for the Eagles. Crystal Palace’s slump this season could result in Ndjoli slipping right through their hands.
